Policies and Information
Prices are per night based on two people to a room and include breakfast and complimentary late afternoon light refreshments including wine and cheese. Rates are subject to change. Rates do not include tax. Click on "Check Availability" for pricing, availability and on-line reservations. Rates/Minimum stay requirements may be higher/longer on Holidays, Holiday long weekends and special events.
- Breakfast is served in the dining room at reserved times, usually at 9:00 AM weekdays and 9:00 and 10:00 AM on weekends. Seating times may vary depending upon number of guests on any given day.
- Maximum occupancy per room: 2.
- Nantucket Whale Inn is designed primarily for adults seeking a tranquil, quiet get-away. Children are welcome but do count towards room occupancy. Reservations for children under 12 years of age must be made directly with the inn by phone only.
- Pets: Sorry, no pets. We can help you arrange boarding nearby if needed.
- Smoking: We are a smoke-free inn. Smoking is not permitted on the property.
- Weekends: A two night minimum is usually required on weekends. Friday and Saturday nights are generally reserved together although Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday combinations can also fulfill the two night weekend requirement. Single Friday and Saturday nights are sometimes available. A single weekend night surcharge will apply.
- Check In: Begins at 4PM. (Late arrivals after 6PM are no problem but by appointment only).
- Check Out: 11:00 AM.
Deposits and Cancellations
A Credit Card is required to hold and confirm reservations. Full payment is due 7 days* prior to arrival and will be charged to the credit card on file unless other arrangements are made. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express are accepted. Cancellations made seven days or less before arrival will be charged the full cost of the stay unless the room can be resold by 4PM of the day of the scheduled arrival. If the room is resold by 4PM of the day of the scheduled arrival, the balance will be refunded less a $25 per room processing fee. Rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to change. There is a maximum of 2 guests per room. No pets please. Inn is Smoke Free.
Rates/policies are subject to change and may vary during high demand periods and special events. *A 30 day payment/cancellation policy and a non-refundable deposit is required on multiple room bookings totaling 5 or more nights, whole Inn bookings, extended stays of 5 or more nights, and for some holidays and special events.
